Certification Courses for Arkansas Food Safety
Arkansas requires that, at the time of inspection, the food manager (or person in charge) be able to demonstrate knowledge of food safety, foodborne illness and the state food code. While food manager certification is not specifically required, it is one of the ways food managers can meet the demonstration of knowledge requirement. Your city or county may have requirements that exceed those in the State Food Code. It is important to check for any additional local requirements. The PSCC Food Safety for Managers course has been written to the FDA Food Code and will prepare you to take any of the three exams approved by ANSI and the Conference on Food Protection (CFP). The PSCC Food Safety for Managers course contains the detailed instructions you will need to register for your proctored food manager certification exam. The exam is administered by a national organization and the fees for the exam are not included in the course.
